The 6th Annual Immigrant Youth Empowerment Conference 2019
Rooted in Solidarity and Liberation

The annual Immigrant Youth Empowerment Conference (IYECon) is an all day conference which aims to provide resources and tools to all youths and their families, regardless of their immigration status to be empowered and organize within their communities. We have 3 tracks designed for High School Students, College Students and Educators.

Workshops Include:
Applying for College
Financing Your Education 
Entrepreneurship Regardless of Immigration Status 
PostGraduation for non-DACA recipients
Making Institutions Accessible For Undocumented Students 
Supporting Students Into Defining Their Own Success

Details:
The conference will be held on
Friday, May 24th, 2019 from 8:00am to 4:00pm
at CUNY John Jay College of Criminal Justice 
Breakfast and lunch will be provided
