Immigrant Youth Empowerment Conference (IYECon) 2016

  • CUNY School of Law 2 Court Square East Long Island City, NY, 11101 United States (map)

IYECon is back again! Our theme this year is "Rooted in Liberation." This theme connects us to our migration history, the policies that forced many of us to come here or made it harder to seek a path to citizen, but also the we hope to continue building towards our joint liberation.

This year’s conference will bring together hundreds of youth, family members, and educators. IYECon will include workshops for undocumented youth, about the college process, alternatives to college, as well as creative ways to organize in one’s own community within academic spaces and on the street.

We need your help to make this a success. Please donate and share!

Find us on Facebook.

Register for the conference.
