The NYSYLC is pleased to announce our partnership with Professor Roberto Gonzales from Harvard University and the National UnDACAmented Research Project (NURP). NURP and the NYSYLC will be launching a national survey that will help build the largest wealth of knowledge on our experience as undocumented youth. This survey will be COMPLETELY CONFIDENTIAL, and will serve to have your voice counted in future policy reform.
Did DACA help you? Will the DREAM Act help you obtain your goals? What are the challenges that we, as undocumented youth, face? Your story and experience will help answer these questions, and understand the effects of policies such as DACA on the everyday lives of undocumented young people.
If you qualify and take part in the historic study, you will receive a $20 Amazon gift card.
To qualify for the survey, you must:
1) Currently live in the U.S., but were born in another country;
2) Are between the ages of 18-23;
3) Are not a U.S. citizen;
4) Are not a legal permanent resident;
5) Arrived in the U.S. before the age of 16 and;
6) Have not left the U.S. in the last 5 years.
If you meet these requirements and to register, please click to HERE. Provided you qualify, you may be selected for the national survey, via email.
