YEP is designed to educate and empower immigrant youth regardless of status through workshops that analyze the intersections of systems of oppression like racism, sexism, and xenophobia. Through lively discussions and interactive activities we aim participants to become active in their personal, intellectual and communal growth.
Commitment:
- Attend the workshops for Week #1 Monday, August 13th-Thursday, August 16th from 4-8pm
- Week #2, Monday August 20-Thursday, August 23 from 4-8pm
- Closing workshop on Saturday, August 25th
Workshops to be held at the YLC office on 339 Lafayette Street, Suite 304, New York, NY 10012 unless otherwise noted.
