New scholarship opportunity for undocumented students. Deadline is September 15, 2011. Check it out and apply. Good luck!
2011 DREAM ACT STUDENT ACTIVIST SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM Since MALDEF’s founding, the civil rights organization has awarded scholarships to students who further MALDEF’s mission of advancing the civil rights of the Latino community in the United States. This year, MALDEF will be awarding scholarships to students, graduate or undergraduate, who have demonstrated their commitment to Latino civil rights through active involvement in advocating for the DREAM Act.
MALDEF will offer scholarships of $5,000 each to selected DREAM Act student activists. The DREAM Act Student Activist Scholarship is open to students who will be enrolled at an American-accredited college or university in 2011-2012. Applicants are evaluated for their academic achievements, for their background and financial need, and, most importantly, for their demonstrated commitment to advancing the DREAM Act and the civil rights of DREAM Act students. Applicants must obtain an application form from any of several DREAM Act advocacy organizations.

Hi. I’m a freshman in an academy in Kansas. I was wondering if you know of any scholarships I could apply for? I’m undocumented and I’m already looking into scholarships and colleges. I seen lots of friends and family members simply decide to give up on college after they graduate but I’m not. Hopefully, my dream can come true.

Hey Carla,
You should check out ksmoda.org- a group that works with undocumented youth in KS & MO. You can email them at info@ksmoda.org as well to get help on scholarships etc.
Best of luck,
Maria

Hello, I'm a junior college student in Georgia, but my family just moved to North Carolina. I'm starting to look into graduate school…I would like to study something that is medically-related, and I'm looking for scholarships. Is there any website that you guys may recommend?
